The ASPN Sports Tech Accelerator is supported by the Sports Administration, Ministry of Education Taiwan, and executed by IAPS ( Center of Industry Accelerator and Patent Strategy, NYCU). It collaborates with the 11 member economies of the APEC Sport Policy Network (ASPN) to jointly accelerate your sports tech innovation journey!
ASPN is composed of Taiwan, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Australia, Canada, Philippines, and Chile. ASPN aims to promote international sporting events and talent development related to sports in the Asia-Pacific region and create a platform for member countries to exchange and share their experiences.

ASPN Sports Tech Accelerator
Program Events
Invitations are extended to startups from both domestic and international to participate in a presentation competition.
The International Association of Sports Professionals (IAPS) and experts from various fields will evaluate the teams’ solutions and potential. The selection process will identify 10-14 promising startup teams to enter the program.
Meet the Big-Shots!
We will invite mentors to analyze startups’ structure and condition and providing suggesstions.
Through in-depth interviews, mentors will assess startups and assist in establishing milestones. Depending on the each team’s needs, efforts will be made to match mentorship experts with investors to provide tailored support.
Invite entrepreneurship speakers to guide teams through the journey of starting a business from 0 to 1. This includes identifying key questions, assembling a team, setting phased value goals, and crafting a compelling business plan with a narrative to secure necessary resources and complete entrepreneurial milestones.
Inviting internationally renowned professional instructors to impart advanced presentation design methods to startups. Facilitating the precise communication of information within the company and creating impactful presentation and communication experiences.
Inviting industry experts and key partners from IAPS to take you deep into the Asia-Pacific market.
This workshop series offers insights from experts in various fields, practical case studies, and assistance in connecting startup with IAPS’s collaboration partners.
Specific match-made meetings for the startups to discuss with the high-level university professors from sports academia in Taiwan, seeking opportunities for industry-academia collaborations.
Invite industry negotiation experts to break down the entire negotiation process—from preparation before the negotiation, to opening, middle stages, and closing. Each phase has its applicable strategies, enabling teams to gain a deep understanding of the sophisticated art of negotiation.
The mentors will review the milestone progress of startups in this phase.
Additionally, the mentors will keep coaching on the startups’ development.
Invite representatives from the TAITRA to introduce the Taiwan Excellence Award and the international opportunities it offers to awardees, such as participation in global exhibitions, media promotions, digital marketing, and channel matchmaking, enhancing global visibility for brands. Additionally, invite startups who have won the award multiple times to share tips on crafting application proposals for the Taiwan Excellence Award, significantly increasing the chances of winning and effectively linking startups with TAITRA’s industry promotion resources.
Inviting IAPS partners, sports associations, and startups to engage in discussions and explore potential collaboration opportunities together.
After a period of mentorship, value addition, operational strategy refinement, and presentation modifications, inviting experts from various fields to conduct a comprehensive assessment and adjustment for the team.
Demo Day serves as the ultimate platform for showcasing the startup’s training outcomes. The event will invite judges from various backgrounds, including investment consultants, sports industry professionals, media representatives, international organizations, and incubation institutions.
These judges will assess the teams based on criteria such as capabilities, services, positioning, and potential.
