HYPE GVA Taiwan 9th Cycle Orientation

The HYPE GVA Taiwan program organized by the Sports Administration of the Ministry of Education, IAPS, and the HYPE Sports Innovation Israel, held its 9th cycle accelerator program orientation at Taiwan Tech Arena on September 27th. Two project introductions were provided in both Chinese and English sessions in the morning and afternoon, respectively, allowing sport-tech startups from Taiwan and around the world to fully and clearly understand the content and benefits of the accelerator program.

This HYPE GVA Taiwan program has completed 8 cycles acceleration program with a cumulative investment of NT$ 500 million and successfully cultivated 85 startups from both domestic and international. During the orientation, the startups present at the scene gained a deeper understanding of the program through the sharing of program directors, project managers, sports industry mentors, and graduate teams. Over 60 people participated in the event.

Mr. Lin Zhe-Hong, Deputy Director General of the Sports Administration of the Ministry of Education, and Mr. Amir Raveh, Founder of HYPE Sports Innovation especially shared their expectations and future prospects for the program in video format with the distinguished guests present at the event. The HYPE Sports Innovation’s COO, Mr. Zvika Popper, also introduced HYPE GVA Taiwan at the event, allowing startups at the scene to better understand the international resources and opportunities for linking up with world-class brands provided by the program!

The 9th cycle orientation also invited partners of the program to participate, including Mr. Hermann Huang, Deputy Director of IoT and Platform Products at Taiwan Mobile, Mr. Darren Chua, Director of Ideal Venture Studio, and Mr. Tim Liu, Senior Analyst at the Digital Transformation Research Institute of the Institute for Information Industry. They shared their international perspectives on sports innovation and the assistance and resources provided by the program. The partners generously shared their experiences.

We also invited outstanding graduate teams from the program to attend the event. Including Golface COO Mr. Li Jiang-Shuo and Uniigym COO Mr. In addition to showcasing their innovative products and services, they shared their gains and resources encountered in the program from the perspective of a graduate team. Even after graduating from the program, they maintain close contact with HYPE GVA Taiwan, jointly expanding and managing Asia’s sports innovation ecosystem, and continue to explore more possibilities for cooperation and growth!
