● September – IAPS and HYPE officially signed a partnership agreement in Tokyo, Japan.
● October – The HYPE SPIN 1st Cycle Program was officially launched.
2019
● May–July – The HYPE SPIN 2nd Cycle Program began recruiting international startup teams.
2020
● July – (Results) Across 1–4 Cycle, the program has nurtured 44 domestic and international startups, raised over NT$300 million, and helped startups connect with partners such as Decathlon, Wei Chuan Dragons Professional Baseball Team, and various overseas markets including Japan and Germany.
2021
● Since November 2020 – In response to the pandemic, the program integrated online and offline resources and was renamed HYPE GVA Taiwan.
2022
● May – (Results) Over seven cycles, the program has accelerated 85 startups from 20 different countries, generating more than NT$500 million (US$16.7 million) in investments and business outcomes. It successfully facilitated collaborations between startups and global corporations such as Decathlon and Taiwan Mobile, and established an industry–academia ecosystem with the National Taiwan Sport University (NTSU). A robust mentor network has been built, comprising hundreds of experts from diverse industries and academic backgrounds worldwide.
2023
● February – The Demo Day of 9th Cycle was held overseas for the first time, taking place in Tokyo.
● August – (Results) Since 2018, HYPE GVA Taiwan has completed 10 accelerator batches, nurturing 104 startups from 22 countries, and generating over NT$800 million (US$28 million) in investments and business achievements.
● August – The five-year collaboration with HYPE Sports Innovation (Israel) concluded successfully as the partnership agreement reached completion.
● October – Launch of the ASPN Sports Tech Accelerator Batch 1.
2024
● August – ASPN Sports Tech Accelerator Batch 1 Demo Day concluded successfully.
● September – IAPS signed MOUs with ASTN (Australia), Science and Technology Park (India), ABSG (Hong Kong), TechShake (Philippines), Plug and Play Japan (Japan), BlackStorm Consulting (Singapore), BEYOND4 (Malaysia), NSTDA (Thailand), and HiG (India), linking regional resources across the Asia-Pacific.
● October – Launch of the ASPN Sports Tech Accelerator Batch 2.
2025
● July – IAPS signed MOUs with IBM APAC, SPORTEC (Japan), Leave a Nest (Japan), Social Consulting Group (Korea), and Techsauce (Thailand), further strengthening collaboration across the Asia-Pacific sports innovation ecosystem.
● July – ASPN Sports Tech Accelerator Batch 2 Demo Day was successfully held.
● July – ASPN Sports Tech Accelerator was invited to exhibit at SPORTEC 2025, Tokyo, Japan.
