ASPN Sports Tech Accelerator x 2025 Asia Road Race Forum & Bangsaen 10

The ASPN Sports Tech Accelerator program was honored to be invited by the Thai Mass Participation Sport Trade Association (TMPSA) to participate in the 2025 Asia Road Race Forum, held from May 22 to 25 at The Tide Resort in Bangsaen, Chonburi, Thailand . Leading the delegation was the sports innovation startup from Spot, which also gave a keynote speech in the forum.

Organized by TMPSA, the Asia Road Race Forum has been convened annually since 2022, aiming to advance the development of the road running industry and enhance the capabilities of race organizers in Southeast Asia. The 2025 forum featured representatives from major events such as the Kenyan Olympic Committee, Osaka Marathon, Ho Chi Minh City and Ha Long Bay Marathons in Vietnam, and Thailand’s Bangsaen series races. These stakeholders shared best practices for organizing large-scale road races in the Asia-Pacific region, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange among participants.

During the forum, the ASPN team also engaged in visits to key Thai innovation and incubation resources, including Techsauce and the Digital Economy Promotion Agency (depa), to explore opportunities for expanding the sports innovation ecosystem within the ASPN network.

The Asia Road Race Forum 2025 coincided with the Bangsaen10, a World Athletics Elite Label 10K race held on May 25. This event provided the ASPN team with valuable insights into the organization of large-scale international sporting events in Thailand and opened avenues for sports innovation startups from ASPN Sports Tech Accelerator to explore participation in global athletic competitions
